Call and Application Procedure ERDF-TNA
The Thuringian Coordination Office TNA functions as intermediate body in terms of funding transnational and interregional activities by means of ERDF.
The program is focused on projects dealing with R&D and innovation.
Annually, a Call ERDF-TNA is carried out in order to fund transnational and interregional projects. Each Call determines own topics, eligible actions and eligibility criteria. It is published in the “Thüringer Staatsanzeiger” and on this website. Furthermore, press releases and events are organized.
The Call ERDF-TNA consists of a two-stage process:
1 stage:
For participation in the first stage the Thuringian Coordination Office TNA provides for an application form. This way, the project idea incl. an estimate of costs can be described (abstract).
The Thuringian Coordination Office TNA evaluates the abstracts and prepares an evaluation sheet for each proposal. On basis of these sheets the Steering Committee TNA decides about the applicants invited to the second stage.
2 stage:
In the second stage a complete application is to be submitted (extended version). It consists of an application form and a form for budgetary requirements both provided by the Thuringian Coordination Office TNA.
The Thuringian Coordination Office TNA evaluates the complete applications and prepares an evaluation sheet for each proposal. On basis of these sheets the Steering Committee TNA votes on the funding.
Each Thuringian project partner receives notice from the TMWAT.
Concrete project ideas can be discussed with us in advance.
Your cooperation partners from the cooperation regions need to provide for their own budget in order to implement their share of the common project.
Who can participate in the program ERDF-TNA?:
- SMEs
- trading associations and chambers
- municipalities and counties
- environmental associations
- research institutions
- institutions involved in technology transfer or clusters and networks
- application and technology centers
- universities
It is strongly recommended to start early with searching for adequate partners in the 14 cooperation regions. Further Thuringian partners can also be invited to the project consortium if reasonable. In this case a “lead partner” is required.
The “lead partner” is in charge of performing the following tasks:
- is applicant
- represents all Thuringian members of the project consortium towards the Thuringian Coordination Office TNA
- passes on all relevant documents to the remaining Thuringian project partners
