Actions Eligible for Funding

According to the ESF Operational Program (abstract in English) only those transnational and interregional projects focussing on actions of the Priority Axis E are eligible for funding:

Action A.1:
Continuous occupational qualification; increasing companies’ competitiveness

  1. Occupational education to strengthen lifelong learning and to improve employees` qualifications,
  2. Training to develop employment in the service sector,
  3. Special training courses for elderly people and low-skilled employees to improve employability,
  4. Improving women’s access to continuous occupational education and to leading positions,
  5. Encouraging innovative corporate restructuring and supporting its establishment/management in order to improve the regional employment situation,
  6. Implementing training networks between public and private educational institutions and companies in order to develop modular schemes for continuing professional development,
  7. Improving the identification of training demands.    

Action A.2:
Promoting entrepreneurship and start-ups which create jobs by providing advice and coaching

Action B.1:
Supporting demand-oriented vocational training

Action B.2:
Promoting lifelong learning and improving career choices

Action C.1:
Improving access to employment, social inclusion and equal opportunities

  1. Decreasing unemployment rate of young people by integration in training and employment

Action C.2:
Social inclusion of disadvantaged people by increasing their employability

  1. Inclusion of disadvantaged people, especially handicapped persons, migrants and disadvantaged young people

Action C.3:
Improving equal opportunities for women and men, compatibility of family and career

  1. Increasing women’s employment and gender equality,
  2. Initiatives to reconcile family, training and career,
  3. Fight against discrimination in employment.
