Tasks of the Steering Committee TNA
The tasks of the Steering Committee TNA concentrate on the following areas: ”General Tasks“, ”Tasks related to ERDF“ and ”Tasks related to ESF”.
I. General Tasks
- The Steering Committee TNA assures a regular exchange of information and regular coordination activities concerning transnational, interregional and cross-border cooperation with Thuringian participation.
- The Steering Committee TNA accompanies the transnational and interregional cooperation in a content-related way. It sets guidelines, e.g. regarding cooperation regions and topics.
- The Steering Committee TNA supports applications in the “free programs“ of the EU. It actively aims at submitting potential projects to these programs.
II. Tasks related to ERDF
- The Steering Committee TNA participates in the process of defining topics and eligibility criteria.
- The Steering Committee TNA accompanies the two-stage process of the annual Call ERDF-TNA. In the first stage the Steering Committee TNA decides which project proposals (abstract) will be invited to the second stage. In the second stage, the Steering Committee TNA votes which project proposals (extended version) will receive grants.
III. Tasks related to ESF
- If required, the Steering Committee TNA votes on projects based on the directive ”integration“ or the ”directive on further education“. The GFAW receives these votes.
- The Steering Committee TNA takes an advisory role in the definition of topics and eligibility criteria. It accompanies Calls.
- The Steering Committee TNA comments on the general ESF eligibility criteria.
