On behalf of the Thuringian Ministry of Economy, Employment and Technology (TMWAT) the State Development Corporation of Thuringia (LEG) coordinates the transnational and interregional activities, that are the cooperation of Thuringian players with other European regions. On basis of the Operational Programs ERDF and ESF the Free State of Thuringia committed itself to cooperate with particular European regions (please see “cooperation regions”).

In order to do so, LEG established the Thuringian Coordination Office for Transnational and Interregional Activities (Thuringian Coordination Office TNA) on 1 April 2008.

The Steering Committee TNA was established to assure a close coordination between the Operational Programs ERDF and ESF as well as with further Thuringian programs funded by the EU. Moreover, the Steering Committee TNA accompanies the activities of the Thuringian Coordination Office TNA.
