Tasks of the Thuringian Coordination Office TNA
The Thuringian Coordination Office TNA:
- is contact point for Thuringian ministries, intermediate bodies and institutions involved in transnational und interregional activities
- advises and informs about funding possibilities and procedures for Thuringian players and their partners in the cooperation regions
- will regularly contact its counterparts in the cooperation regions in order to coordinate project topics and partnerships
- supports partner search activities and prepares cooperation agreements with cooperation regions
- secretariat for Steering Committee TNA
- assures exchange of information with the interministerial task force for foreign relations of the Free State of Thuringia (IMAG)
Special responsibilities and tasks for the Structural Fund ERDF:
The Thuringian Coordination Office TNA functions as intermediate body according to COUNCIL REGULATION (EC) No 1083/2006 Article 59(2) and is responsible for:
- preparation and implementation of annual calls ERDF-TNA
- processing of applications and monitoring
- control and payment of grant during the project’s implementation phase
- application verification check
Special responsibilities and tasks for the Structural Fund ESF:
The Thuringian Coordination Office TNA:
- organizes events, such as conferences, workshops and cooperation meetings on behalf of the Thuringian Managing Authority ESF; such events are organized on account of Thuringia or due to Thuringian participation
- is contact for proposals regarding events, such as conferences, workshops and cooperation meetings to be organized on account of Thuringia; processing; is contact for submission of initiatives aiming at transnational and interregional activitites (vote), processing
- prepares handouts for meetings of the Steering Committee TNA
- processes further instigations of the Thuringian Managing Authority ESF focusing on the objectives of Priority Axis E of the Operational Program ESF
- prepares and implements Calls if required, processes applications and presents them to the Steering Committee TNA
